The Book 90% Mental - 7 Mental Secrets to be great in Hockey along with Co Author Vic Lindal.

Pete Fry was a goalie drafted by the NHL New Jersey Devils, played 5 years in the WHL where he was selected for the WHL All Star Team and was also selected his teams MVP for two consecutive years. He played two years under Vancouver Canucks Head Coach Willie Desjardins and one year under Pittsburgh Penquins head coach Mike Johnston. At University of Calgary, Pete led his team to the CIS Champoinships tournament before a devastating knee injury thwarted the championship attempt Pete still managed to turn pro the following year and then earn a contract to play Div 1 in Sweden. Pete never fully recovered from his injury and had to retire after 3 years of professional hockey.

Maintaining his burning desire and passion for the position, Pete naturally moved into the role of goalie coach. Pete taught at the Okanagan Hockey and Goalie School and moved into the role of Head Goalie Instructor working and learning alongside some goalie greats like Andy Moog, Grant Fuhr and Ron Tugnutt.

Pete eventually left OHS to start his own hockey school with former NHL Goalies Darren Jensen and Steve Passmore. In that school Pete worked and learned from some goalie greats such as Ron Hextall, John Vanbiesbrouck.

Following this Pete Founded Puckmasters Hockey and Goalie Training Centers and early on trained 3 young developing goalteners: Robbie Tallas, Mike Valley and Eli Wilson. Two of the three signed NHL Contracts and all three are now NHL Goalie Coaches. Pete has also trained many other goaltenders to move on to Junior, College and Pro careers.
